Oh oh to touch and feel a girl’s vagina… Ahhh Heaven!

Oh oh to touch and feel a girl’s vagina… Ahhh Heaven!
Oh oh to touch and feel a girl’s vagina… Ahhh Heaven!
Oh oh to touch and feel a girl’s vagina… Ahhh Heaven!

I keep repeating that in my mind as I answer the 60-minute long midterm examination in Medical-Surgical Nursing, it is afterall the mnemonic for the twelve Cranial nerves namely; Olfactory, Optic, Occulomotor, Trochlear, Trigeminal, Abducent, Facial, Auditory (aka Vestibulocochlear), Glossopharyngeal, Vagus, Accessory, and Hypoglossal nerves.
My test is not about Anatomy, but since the scope of examination primarily focus on the different Disorder of the Central Nervous System, the brain’s Anatomy and Physiology was dragged along. I very well know the names and the specific function of each nerve; unfortunately, I already forgot their order, from the first to the twelfth nerve.
My midterm exam in Psychiatric Nursing the other day was at 2PM, and somehow I thought that my MS Nursing exam would take place at the same time. My cellphone is broken so no one was able to text me that the exam was scheduled at 10. Thank goodness I ran an errand at Arlo’s school at ten, and by 12 noon I was already in my school. As I was walking to our classroom, I was surprised when I saw my classmates walking outside discussing about the exam. But I was relieved when Khollete came pelting behind me asking about it. She too thought that it was scheduled at 2 PM.
We both talked to our professor and were rescheduled to take the exam with the other block. One of our classmates hinted us about the 12 cranial nerves so I memorized the nerves in order. Kholette however was anxious about the General function of each nerve, we already know their specific functions, but whether they function as Sensory, or Motor, or Both is another story. We are already cramming and we have to find a way to memorize them as quickly as possible.
The general function of each nerve has a mnemonic too and we both know that it somehow starts with Some Say Marry Money (for Sensory, Sensory, Motor Motor) but we already forgot about the rest. So Kholette made her own mnemonic; Some Say Marry Money But My Butt Says Big Body Marry Money. This left us both laughing in the end, but still, it was brilliant.

interesting mnemonic. hehee
there’s also the mnemonic for classifying organisms (kingdom, phyla, class, order, family, genus, species). It goes something like: King Philip Came Over For Great…. well, you can finish the rest.

I missed Med-Surg! It’s way better than Psych nursing, and we were required 3 200-page paper for one and a half month. Darn.

Naughty! But that must be very effective. I cringe each time I remember my students’ pnemonics - it seems the crazier and naughtier they get, the easier they are to remember.

Your OOOTTAFAGVAH mnemonic is interesting. Well that’s something you can’t forget.
