im in isabela today, hmmmm….
ive been here since december 23…
living in a very rural place is really fascinating but hard really hard…
GREAT THINGS ABOUT ISABELA
1.the weather
the weather here is extremely different from that of bataan… it is really cold here up north… i always wear my jacket and fog or smoke or vapor (i dunno what it is) comes out from my mouth whenever i speak… brrrrr it is co-o-o-lddd…
2. the atmosphere
breathe in… breathe out… inhale… exhale… sigh… the freshest air in the country….
3. the foods
my grandmother cooks the best ilocano dishes… from weeds (i mean vegetable) cuisine, to roasted beef and pork… man, she's the best!!!
4. my cousins
there is no dull moment with them… especially my 6 year old praternal twin cousins… love them sooo much…

THINGS THAT MAKE ISABELA SUCH A HOSTILE PLACE
1. the toilet
the toilet is outside my grandmother's house… one time i felt the urge to go there, but then, my father, my uncles, my relatives, the neighbors, together with the peasants and laborers, gambled just in front of the toilet… even tho i really, really wanted "to let go of all my worries and frustrations" i waited until midnight when they finally decided to sleep before i went to the toilet…
the toilet has no light (which is really creepy) so i have to bring with me a flaslight… i have to choose from the two toilet there… one was a mosquito breeding ground but has locks and the other was clean but has none… i chose the latter…
2. they do not celebrate Xmas
my great granmother died on christmas eve… get the idea?
happy new year to all!!!!!!!!!
actually not just an ordinary bread… it should be the one with a hole at the center that worth 3 pesos each… a donut…
